The south nine of the Golf Course is now available as a winter off-leash dog park!

The Camrose Golf Course was established in 1922 and is an 18-hole public course that offers all amenities required by both the recreational golfer and the golfer seeking additional challenges to their game.

If you are interested in playing in a league, Camrose has five leagues to choose from. Contact the Pro Shop at 780.672.2691 to sign up or get more information.

Mens Night

  • Tuesday nights - 6:00pm shotgun start
  • Open to any man aged 18 years or older
  • 9-Holes of team match play with a variety of formats each week
  • Teams consist of a minimum of 4 players plus spares, each week the team elects 4 to play in the match play format, all other teammates may play as a “casual” on a different assigned hole(s)
  • Individual hole prizes each week, available to all players
  • Cost is $125 for the season plus green fees if applicable (includes a meal at the spring “All Play” and a meal and Prizes at the Fall “All Play")
  • League runs May - September

Seniors Mixed Day

  • Tuesday mornings - 9:00am shotgun start
  • Open to anyone aged 55 years or older
  • Golfers play their own ball and are grouped into foursomes
  • Register on bulletin board outside the Pro Shop by noon Saturday prior to week of play
  • Weekly games and prizes
  • Cost is $20 for the year plus green fees if applicable
  • League runs May - September

Ladies Day

  • Thursday mornings - 9:00am shotgun start
  • Open to all ladies 18 years and older
  • Golfers play their own ball and are grouped into foursomes
  • No handicap required
  • Cost is $20 for the year plus green fees if applicable

Ladies Fun Night

  • Thursday nights – modified 6:00pm shotgun start
  • 9 holes of a variety of non-competitive individual and team play
  • Cost is $7 weekly (optional) for hole prizes and team game plus green fees (if applicable)
  • Register at the Pro Shop by Monday prior to week of play
  • League runs from June - August

Juniors League

  • 9-holes of golf every Monday (excluding holidays)
  • Open to all Juniors 18 years and under able to play golf without supervision!
  • Individual and team play
  • Weekly prizes
  • Fun Scramble 5:00 PM May 25, June 29, July 27 & August 31
  • Juniors book their own tee-time or join an available group throughout the day 
  • Free instruction provided on Fun Scramble nights from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
    Volunteer for 3 Men’s Night hole competitions and League fees are waived

Camrose Ladies Open

The Camrose Golf Course offers a fully stocked Pro Shop. Whether you need a new set of irons, a sleeve of balls, or a new grip on your club, the Pro Shop caters to the equipment needs of all golfers - experts and beginners alike. With brands like Titleist, Callaway, Travis Matthew and Foot Joy, we are sure to have something for everyone.

Pro Shop Hours:

  • April 1 - April 30: 10:00am - 4:00pm (Monday to Friday; open from 9:00am - 6:00pm Daily once course is open)
  • May 1 - May 4: 8:30am - 9:00pm
  • May 5 - May 11: 8:00am - 9:00pm
  • May 12 until Fall: 7:00am - 10:00pm

A variety of golf course food and beverages are available at the Camrose Golf Course before and after your round. The Kiosk, located at the clubhouse between holes 9 and 10, and the on-course beverage cart will provide you with something quick to keep you going during your round.

Hours of operation vary with the seasons and weather.

Local Rules

  • RCGA rules govern all play except where modified by local rules
  • Out of Bounds - All white stakes and perimeter fencing
  • Water Hazard - Yellow stakes
  • Lateral Water Hazard - Red stakes
  • Staked Trees - Green stakes: Free drop from the nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole, within one club length
  • Perimeter fences are objects defining out-of-bounds, therefore there is no free relief
  • Hole 4: If the ball is lost in the hazard, the player may, under penalty of one stroke, play another ball from the spot the original ball was played, the nearest point of relief where the ball last crossed the hazard, or the designated drop area

Golf Course Regulations

  • Allow faster groups to play through
  • Keep power carts 30 feet from greens and obey all directional signs and ropes
  • Each golfer must have their own set of clubs
  • Pro Shop staff have authority for pace of play, stopping for lunch or snacks between nines results in loss of priority on the tenth tee
  • Play starts on the 1st tee unless authorized by the Pro Shop staff
  • Dress code in effect
  • For safety reasons, non-golfing children under the age of twelve are not permitted on the playing area of the golf course

The Camrose Golf Course does not possess an inclement weather warning or detection system. Golfers play at their own risk. The Course has no obligation to warn or remove anyone due to inclement weather including the potential for lightning. Golfers may suspend their round at any time upon their own determination of the dangers of existing, impending or threatening inclement weather and will be eligible for a rain check.
